WHERE TO CATCH THE BUS

On Sunday, June 15, 2008, a bus will pick you up near your home town and transport you to the Westminster Woods Camp. Several campers will share the bus. One bus will travel from Eureka on Highway 101 and pick up students in Eureka, Fortuna-Ferndale Area, Garberville, Willits, Ukiah, Cloverdale, Healdsburg. Another bus will pick up students in Napa. Sonoma, Petaluma, and Santa Rosa. All campers will be asked to meet the bus at one these locations. Rotarians from your area will be available to help you! A tentative schedule is included.

Campers will not be allowed to use their own transportation beyond the pickup points or participate as part-time participants. If you are unable to attend camp for the entire week, please notify me so that we can make arrangements for another student to attend who is able to make a full-time commitment.

Participants will arrive at the camp between 3 and 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 15. Departure from camp will occur at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 20. The return trip will be in reverse order with the stops being the same as on Sunday, June 15. Please anticipate the times for your pick up in your home town. For example, the bus will take 1 hour and 45 minutes from 11 a.m. to arrive in Ukiah. The Napa students can expect to arrive in about 2 hours.

Nine students and one counselor will be assigned to each cabin. Counselors have been selected on the basis of their ability and enthusiasm for leadership activities. Several were on hand last year and have experience in leadership activities.
